Beauty in a way workshop

Leo Fitzmaurice is known for his playful sculptures and installations which use everyday materials such as packaging, design and signage. His work reconfigures holiday brochures, cereal boxes, leaflets and wrappers. Fitzmaurice worked with young patients at the Royal London Hospital during the summer holidays.  Patients explored 3D scultpural forms and 2D patterns created from found marketing leaflets.

The workshops were the first stage of a commission by Fitzmaurice for the new children’s hospital.
