Kaleidoscopic Impressions is part of a new series of limited editions produced by contemporary cult classic jewellery designers Tatty Devine, inspired by their acclaimed 2016 site-specific commission for the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

The original hospital commission, titled Kaleidoscopic Reflections, is a vast, immersive installation that runs throughout the Paediatric Imaging Unit. It includes thousands of laser cut shapes that form kaleidoscopic compositions—in the reception, waiting areas, corridors and, critically, in treatment rooms—and has transformed the experience of children undergoing clinical procedures.

Nearly a decade after the landmark hospital installation—Tatty Devine’s first site-specific commission—these newly released limited editions bring the same joyful elements to a wider audience. The mesmerising explosions of colourful, reflective, and glittering shapes (featuring bones and a few surprises) are encapsulated in these works.

This collaboration between Tatty Devine and Vital Arts seeks to extend the wonder of Kaleidoscopic Reflections beyond the hospital.

Tatty Devine is the go-to brand for original, fun, acrylic statement jewellery, and was founded in the heart of east London in 1999 by Harriet Vine MBE and Rosie Wolfenden MBE after graduating from Chelsea School of Art. All jewellery is still designed and handmade in-house by a female-led team. They often collaborate with artists, designers, and their favourite cultural spaces to create special collections throughout the year. They were both awarded MBEs in 2013 for their service to the fashion industry.

Proceeds from the sale of this print support CoppaFeel! and the Vital Arts programme.

Please Note that prices may be subject to change. As is customary in edition publishing, prices will rise as the edition begins to sell out.
