A painting by Lothar Götz, entitled Pojagi was first commissioned by Vital Arts in 2007 to mark the beginning of the new Royal London Hospital building programme. To celebrate the opening of the new Royal London Hospital in 2012, the artist created a unique print series produced especially for Vital Arts from his extensive portfolio of drawings for the cavernous space in the hospitals Imaging Reception area.

Lothar Götz lives in London and was born in Germany in 1963. He studied at The Royal College of Art for an MA in Fine Art in 1998. He has undertaken several public art commissions and exhibits his work extensively in museums and galleries in the UK and Europe, including: Leeds City Art Gallery, the Southbank Centre and Chisenhale Gallery.
