London Art Fair 2014

Vital Arts was invited to take part in the Arts Project section of the London Art Fair. We were kindly provided with a booth free-of-charge to sell our limited editions artworks that raise funds for our Patient Participation Programme. The fair took place over the course of six days in January at the Business Design Centre in Islington and welcomed over 30,000 visitors.

As well as exhibiting our full range of limited editions, we launched two new ones; Every Little Helps by Leo Fitzmaurice and Fall by a Stream by Paula Kane

Artist Jacques Nimki attracted attention by launching his Whitechapel-based fragrance A&E which he made from wildflowers collected around The Royal London Hospital.

Vital Arts Commissions Manager, Catsou Roberts was included in the Talks Programme, and gave a presentation entitled, Public Art Commissioning in a Healthcare Context. She invited Nimki to join her and speak about his practice and projects for Vital Arts. Roberts also hosted a tour for LAF VIPs of our latest site-specific works at the Royal London Hospital.
