Jelly Spectacular
Bompas and Parr
Renowned culinary artists Bompas & Parr brought their signature sense of spectacle to the wards at The Royal London Hospital. Touring with a vibrant dessert trolley, they served patients and staff a playful selection of sensory treats — including a shimmering tower of fresh fruit jellies, hand-baked gingerbread ready for decorating, and instant ice cream theatrically made with dry ice.
Adding to the joyful atmosphere, harpist Jean Kelly performed live, creating a festive and calming backdrop as patients, staff, and visitors gathered to take part in this unique, multisensory celebration.
“I cannot believe this is happening here – it feels like a dream!”
