Jake and Dinos Chapman

Brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman both graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1990, and have worked together since. They were associated with the emergence of the YBA (Young British Art) movement in the 1990s and were included in such groundbreaking exhibitions as Brilliant! and Sensation, organised by Charles Saatchi at the Royal Academy of Art in 1997. The Chapman Brothers were nominated for the Turner Prize in 2003, and they have exhibited widely with many international shows, including at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Jerwood Gallery, Hastings; Kunstverein Hamburg, White Cube, Hong Kong; PS1, NYC; Tate Britain; The Hermitage, St. Petersburg. Their work has attracted critical acclaim – and occasional controversy – world wide.
