To launch the refurbishment of the Breast Care Centre at Barts artist Julian Opie created a temporary billboard screen as part of the overall Barts Breast Care Centre

Unknown Parade/Daybirds and Nightbirds 2006
To launch the new hospital building programme at The Royal London, artist Pae White was commissioned to create a temporary billboard screen taking as its inspiration the ticker tape parades of her native USA. Pae White also produced a special print of her work for the hospital’s art collection on show at The Royal London Hospital.

Pojagi 2007 – 2009
To launch the building programme at Barts, artist Lothar Götz created a billboard screen based on the colours and patterns found on traditional Korean Pojagi wrapping cloths for gifts and presents of food. Götz also created a permanent artwork for the hospital art collection.

Vital Arts commissioned artist Liz Rideal to create a one-off temporary projection forthe 15th Century bell tower of St Bartholomew the Less, celebrating the coming of spring after the dark days of winter and the wonder of the architecture of Barts.
