HOW TO GET INVOLVED WITH VITAL ARTS
We offer commissions as and when the funding becomes available and do have a commitment to working with local artists as much as possible. These opportunities are advertised in Artists Newsletter and sent to artists whose work we are familiar with. If you would like to be considered for a commission in the future, please send in some examples of your work together with your CV.
We also offer volunteer options for those wishing to get experience of the art in health environment. Although we can only pay expenses, these opportunities are properly structured and we hope give artists a firm footing for finding future work. Please contact Ginny Carvisiglia, our Artist in Residence, or Moira Sinclair if you would like to discuss this further.
We offer free exhibition space at The Royal London site and St. Barts and take 33% of any sales made. To pursue this options please contact Tiffany Radmore, our Exhibitions Manager. The space is offered for 3 months and is currently programmed about a year in advance.
We are exploring the possibility of setting up Arts Stalls for major events at the hospital where we hope local artists will be able to sell work profitably as well as showcasing their skills.
We employ artists to run workshops both with staff and patients, again on an ad-hoc basis.
