Hidden Hospital is a photographic project by Victoria Nightingale and Claire Quinn that took place as part of The Whitechapel Gift Shop. The photographs were exhibited in the Royal London Hospital Gallery in 2008. Profiling the diverse and unsuspected jobs vital to the hospital's success, the project gathered stories at memories of the building at a time of upheaval and change as the new hospital building programme got underway. The portraits introduced a variety of characters, some of whom have worked at the hospital for over 30 years and are depicted alongside their newer colleagues and professions.
