Vital Arts worked with designer Greg Epps to create a bedside design studio. This portable tool enabled patients of all ages and abilities to create models of their ideal play space. These ideas and models then informed the design brief for the double-height play space in the new children's hospital. 40 young patients shared ideas for how they would like to use the play space. These included an art studio, a ball pool, Imax cinema, circus, a Birthday room, a teddy bear area and a wheelchair obstacle course.
